Gateway Industries has held a “Derby Day Run for the Roses” fundraiser for over 20 years on the first Saturday in May at the WV State Fair Grounds. Participants and local businesses support our efforts to help Gateway fulfill its mission to provide employment, training, and services as well as maintain a thriving business in the community.

The event is filled with excitement, great food and live music. Attendees enjoy a silent auction, while watching the Kentucky Derby on large screen TVs throughout. In tradition of the Kentucky Derby, there is a most spectacular Hat contest with prizes for the winners. There are door prizes galore and other activities to round out the day.

Have fun while knowing that you are helping support a very worthwhile cause!

Hello all.  We would like to share a quick note – WV has undergone some very serious flooding – the morning of June 24th saw record breaking levels of water, many lives were lost, homes destroyed, and massive damage was done.

Gateway Industries is located in Ronceverte, WV, not far from the Greenbrier River – and our offices did take on significant water.  We are remaining positive and actively rebuilding and restoring.  We wish all those affected the very best with their recovery.
